Inside Villa Haugen

All furniture and fittings express the grandeur and exclusivity of Villa Haugen where the glamorous 1920s come to life. Most of the furniture has either been procured through international auction houses like Sotheby's in London or through recognized classic furniture companies like Scappini and Selva. The intention has been to secure pieces, which recreate the glamour of the era.

The main house consists of three floors and each is immaculately appointed. You may enter the house via the main entrance, which presents a spectacular view of the grand hall. You may also enter via a more private side entrance, which enjoys a view of the kitchen with its beautiful fireplace and open fire.

The dining room is majestic with its table for 12, table linen and fireplace. It leads into the main living room also with a fireplace where you may take coffee and brandy after dinner. If you prefer a low-key evening, you may use one of the two other adjacent living rooms – one with its own bar and a fireplace. There is a spacious balcony, which benefits from a canopy, where you can enjoy the Northern Lights. In the summer, you can pick beautiful fragrant roses straight from this balcony.

The upper floor consists of 5 twin-sharing/double bedrooms – all with a splendid ocean view and accompanying furniture. The largest bedroom is 30 sqm – while de other four is between 15 and 25 sqm. Two of the bedrooms come with its own canopied balcony. All bedrooms come with its own luxurious bath room - all of them with an on suite.
