Here at Villa Haugen we concentrate on exploring our surroundings, using the extraordinary produce that northern Norway has to offer to create a unique dining experience for our guests.
With the seasons changing so dramatically in Steigen, we use the opportunity to preserve what he environment of the island has to offer, achieving a fluent supply of beautiful flavors from the island and our surroundings.
For dinner guests we serve our tasting in our main houses dining room in our communal table. We also offer other private dining experiences in our pavilion, as we understand the night sky can be very hard to miss.

Breakfast is served from between 07:00 and 09:00 (breakfast diner closes at 09:30).
We serve a seasonal cooked lunch changed daily, this is served within our dining room normally from 12:30 to 14:00 - or based on request and ongoing activities. A takeaway packed lunch is provided for guests that would like to enjoy the outdoors. We also do arctic picnics (weather dependent).
We can offer a 4, 5 or a 7 course dinner menu all week (if late arrival a 3 course dinner can be provided if agreed). Dinner will normally start at 19:00.
We can also provide catering for day guests. This concept typically addresses guests that are not staying at Villa Haugen but at our cooperation partners’ facilities or other groups of interest that will like to enjoy a culinary experience in surroundings from the glamorous 1920s.
