At Villa Haugen we utilize to the best of our ability the produce that the different seasons have to offer – so that our guests will have a completely unique dining experience.

The focus is on local food. Skrei (Cod) from Lofoten, halibut from Vestfjorden, lamb and vegetables from Steigen are on our menus. We have our own fish racks where skrei is transformed into local delicacies such as boknafisk and stockfish.

Dinner is served at a communal table in the dinning room – providing a good atmosphere and new acquaintances. On special occasions we can serve dinner in our gazebo – winter as well as summer.



Breakfast is served between 07:00 – 09:00 in our dining room on the 1st floor of the service building (dining room closes 09:30).


Upon request, hot lunch is served in our dining room in the service building between 12:30 and 14:00 (must be pre-ordered no later than the day before). To the extent that guests are going to participate in outdoor activities – we make sure that you can bring a Villa Haugen packed lunch. We can also arrange Arctic picnics (weather dependent).


Villa Haugen serves a 4 course dinner as standard (included in the price of the room). In addition, we can offer 5 course dinner (min. 4 people) or 7 course dinner (min. 6 people) on request. We also arrange for shellfish tables and barbecue evening in our boathouse.

We can also offer dinner for day guests (min. 4 people). Please contact us by phone or e-mail for booking.

Dinner is served at 19:00 in Restaurant Grjot in the main house's dining room or
by appointment.

We don’t have a children’s menu.
