We offer a luxurious stay in Arctic surroundings
All bedrooms are furnished in an old style to preserve the house’s historic touch. All bedrooms have their own bathroom – upgraded to meet modern standards.
In addition, there are two apartments on the 2nd floor of the new service building. These are decorated in a more modern style (rented out only on special occasions).
NB! We have an age limit of 18 years. Families with children are requested to contact us directly for bookings.
Nordskot (The Blue Room) is a large suite (33 m2) with its own balcony and sea view. The room is facing east with morning light/sun and a view towards Manshausen, Naustholmen and Nordskot (the mainland). The room has a private bathroom with equipped with bathtub and shower. The bedroom contains a King sized bed (180×200), bedside table, a closet, Persian floor carpets and a sitting area with sofa, 4 chairs and a smaller coffee table.
Grøtøy (The Flower Room) is a Junior Suite (27 m2) with its own balcony and sea view. The room faces north/northeast with a breathtaking view of Loftoten and Engeløya. The bathroom is furnished in a French style with a cast iron tub with lion’s feet and accompanying shower. The bedroom contains a King size bed (180×200), bedside table, a closet, Persian carpets and dressing table/desk.
Lofoten (The Green Room) is a Deluxe Superior double room (24 m2). The view from this room is special – facing west / northwest – and thus a view of the entire Lofoten mountains from Vesterålen in the north to Værøy/Røst in the south. The room has a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. The room contains a Queen size bed (160×200), bedside table, a closet and a chest of drawers.
Steigen (The Red Room) is a Superior double room (17 m2) facing north/northeast and fantastic view towards the Lofoten mountain and Engeløya. Here too, you can experience morning sun and midnight sun. The room has an older double bed (145×180) in French style, bedside table, a closet and a sofa.
Vestfjorden (The Yellow Room) is a standard double room (13 m2) with views to the west/northwest and Lofoten. The Yellow Room contains a double bed (150×200), bedside tables, a chest of drawers, chair and a
clothes rack.
We are currently expanding the capacity at Villa Haugen. This will be done through building of three new cabins on the slope between the current main house and the boathouse area.
The cabins are planned with an inner core in solid wood and an outer roof section that will be reminiscent of traditional fish racks. They will adapt to the terrain. They will consist of a living room / bedroom (with 2 sleeping / beds) as well as a bathroom and an entrance part.
The plan is to get started with the construction of these cabins in 2024 – so that they are ready for rental from the 2025 season.
